A

ADAPTER

You are welcome to borrow an adapter from reception – it’s no problem at all. We will charge a deposit of CHF 30.00 to your room bill, which we will of course cancel when you return the adapter.

ALARM CLOCK

Need to get up early? Alarm clocks are available at reception for your own wake-up service.

ALLERGY SUFFERERS

If you have food intolerances, such as gluten or lactose, we will be happy to provide suitable alternatives for breakfast. We can also accommodate allergies to bedding, upholstery, or duvets—just let us know. It is best to inform us of your requirements when making your reservation so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

 

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

On the day of arrival, your room will be ready for you from 2:00 p.m. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the room by 12:00 noon at the latest so that we can prepare it for the next guests.
If you would like to arrive earlier, we offer early check-in for CHF 50.00, subject to availability. It is also possible to extend your stay on the day of departure: we charge CHF 40.00 for check-out by 4:00 p.m. If you would like to keep the room after 4:00 p.m., the price of an additional night will be charged. Simply speak to us at reception in advance. We will be happy to help you and check what is possible.

BABY BED

We are happy to provide a baby cot on request at a price of CHF 15.00 per night per cot. Please let us know if you require this when booking your room so that we can prepare everything in time for your stay.

 

BANK / ATM

There is a bank and several ATMs just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Information on opening hours and exact locations is available at our reception desk at any time.

BED LINEN

Our bed linen is made from hypoallergenic material, making it ideal for allergy sufferers. If you require additional bed linen, simply let us know at reception and we will be happy to provide it for you.

 

BEVERAGES & DRINKING WATER

During reception opening hours, a selection of drinks is available for purchase. The tap water in the hotel is of excellent drinking quality and can be drunk directly from the tap without any problems.

BREAKFAST

We offer a small but delicious breakfast buffet for our guests every day. The breakfast room is located on the ground floor.

Monday to Friday from 6:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. I Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

BUS TO THE AIRPORT

The public bus departs directly from the Kloten Stadthaus stop, right next to the entrance to the Stadthauspassage. Bus 731 runs every half hour at ..:25 and ..:55. Bus 733, which also goes directly to Zurich Airport, runs at ..:07 and ..:37. Our reception will be happy to help you with current timetables or connections.

 

CHECK-IN CHECK-OUT

All important information about your arrival, check-in, check-out, and topics such as early check-in or late check-out can be found clearly under “Arrival & Departure.”

 

CHARGER

You are welcome to borrow a charger from reception. We will charge a deposit of CHF 30.00 to your room bill, which will of course be refunded when you return the charger.

 

CHURCH

There is both a Catholic and a Protestant church in Kloten. Services in the Reformed church are held every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. The Catholic church celebrates Mass on Thursdays at 9:00 a.m., Saturdays at 5:00 p.m., and Sundays at 10:00 a.m. If you prefer a quiet place for personal prayer, you will also find prayer rooms at Zurich Airport that are available around the clock.

DIRECTIONS

Here you will find all the important information you need for your journey, including train connections, route planning, and everything else you need to arrive here stress-free.

 

DO NOT DISTURB

If you do not wish to be disturbed, simply hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the outside of your door. Please remember to remove the sign when you leave the room so that our team can clean your room. Rooms are usually cleaned between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

DOCTOR

The Airport Medical Center at Zurich Airport is open 365 days a year and offers medical care around the clock. You can reach the medical center directly by calling +41 43 816 60 00.

If you require an emergency doctor or are unsure, please contact our reception immediately. In the event of a medical emergency, call 144 for an ambulance.

DRINKING WATER

During reception opening hours, a selection of drinks is available for purchase. The tap water in the hotel is of excellent drinking quality and can be drunk directly from the tap without any problems.

ELECTRICITY

The mains voltage in Switzerland is 220 V. Adapters are available at reception for a fee.

 

EMERGENCY

In case of an emergency, dial 611 from your room telephone and you will be connected directly to the reception desk. For minor emergencies, you will find a first aid kit with disinfectant spray, bandages, and band-aids at the reception desk. For more information, please refer to the DOCTOR section.

 

ESCAPE PLAN

Safety first!

You will find the emergency and evacuation plan behind your room door. In the event of a fire alarm, please follow the instructions provided there and follow the instructions of our staff.

FIRE PREVENTION / FIRE ALARM

All rooms are equipped with a fire alarm that ensures your safety around the clock. In the event of a fire alarm, please follow the evacuation plan in your room and the instructions of our staff.

 

FITNESS ROOM

Our fitness room on the first floor, at the end of the hallway, is available free of charge every day from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. You can easily access it at any time with your room key. Please note: Use of the fitness room is at your own risk; the hotel accepts no liability for injuries.

 

FLIGHT INFORMATION – ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES

You can obtain up-to-date information on arrivals and departures at any time at Zurich Airport or at our reception desk.

 

FRESH FRUIT

Fresh fruit is available every day at reception. Enjoy it right away or take it with you for later. Help yourself!

HEATING / VENTILATION

The room temperature is regulated throughout the entire building. However, you can adjust the radiator in your room as needed. Our hotel has individually adjustable cold air supply, but does not have air conditioning. If you require an additional radiator or fan, please contact the reception desk.

 

HOUSE RULES

Please keep the corridors quiet between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. so that all guests can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. Thank you for your understanding!

 

HYGIENE PRODUCTS

Items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, combs, ladies’ toiletries, slippers, and sewing kits are available free of charge at the reception desk at any time.

Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. Simply connect to the “WelcomeInn-Free” network and you’re online. In addition, you will find a computer with internet access and a printer next to the reception desk, which you are welcome to use.

 

INVOICE

Settle your bill in good time before departure. To save time, we recommend online check-out – quick, convenient, and no waiting at reception.

 

IRONING ROOM

Our ironing room is located on the second floor, right next to the elevator. We are happy to provide you with an iron free of charge. Just ask at the reception desk.

PARKING SPACES

During your stay, you can park free of charge in the garage or around the hotel. If you would like to leave your car with us during a business trip or vacation, we are happy to offer you an underground parking space for CHF 70.00 per week, with each additional day costing CHF 10.00. Please let us know if you require this service when booking your room so that we can ensure a space is available.

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment is possible in CHF, EUR, and US dollars (at the current exchange rate), with cash, postcard (CH), TWINT, EC card (Maestro), and Google Pay. Credit cards such as Amex, Mastercard, Visa, Diners, and JCB are also accepted.

 

PETS

Dogs and cats are very welcome here! We charge an additional fee of CHF 15.00 per pet per night (excluding food). Please register your pet at reception. We kindly ask you to keep your dog on a leash at all times in and around the hotel.

 

PHARMACY

There is a pharmacy just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, right next to the COOP supermarket. Alternatively, there is another pharmacy directly at the airport. If you are unsure, our reception will be happy to help you with directions.
You can also purchase minor first-aid items directly from us at reception.

PHOTOCOPIES

We will be happy to copy your documents at reception for a small fee.

POST

The post is delivered daily from Monday to Saturday. You are welcome to leave outgoing mail at reception.

 

PUBLIC TOILETS

As a hotel guest, public restrooms are available at all times on the first basement level. Just follow the signs.

RECEPTION

The reception is open Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you have any questions or require further information, please call us on 611 directly from your room telephone.
Outside of opening hours, you will be automatically redirected to our sister hotel, Allegra Lodge. They will be happy to help you at any time.

REFRIGERATOR

Some of our rooms have a small minibar refrigerator, which you are welcome to use to chill your own products.

ROOM CLEANING – INDIVIDUAL

For stays of 2 nights or more, you can decide whether you would like room cleaning services during your stay at Hotel Welcome Inn. Simply scan the QR code in the bathroom and cancel or personalize your daily cleaning. It only takes a few clicks and you’ve helped conserve resources.

 

ROOM KEY

Always take your room key with you when you leave the house. This also opens the hotel entrance door at night. Make sure that your room door is always locked.

SAFE & VALUABLES

There is a safe in your room. Please read the instructions carefully before entering your personal code. This will allow you to store your valuables safely in the room safe. The hotel accepts no liability for valuables lost outside the safe in the room.

 

SHOPPING

The center of Kloten, with its numerous shopping opportunities, is just a few minutes’ walk away. Most shops are open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. For Sunday shopping, ShopVille-Rail City in Zurich’s main train station offers a good selection, and most stores are open until 10 p.m.

You can also shop at Zurich Airport every day until 9:00 p.m., and at Migros until 11:00 p.m.

SMOKING

Smoking is only permitted outdoors so that all guests can enjoy their stay undisturbed. Please note: If smoking is detected in a non-smoking room, a cleaning fee of CHF 150.00 will be charged to thoroughly clean the room and restore it to its original condition. Thank you for your understanding!

TAXI & TRANSFER

Would you like a transfer service? Our reception will be happy to order a taxi for you at any time.

 

TELEPHONE

For external calls within Switzerland, first dial “0” followed by the desired telephone number. International calls can be made at any time for a small fee via the reception desk. We will be happy to help you.

 

TRAIN TO ZURICH

The Kloten train station is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. From there, the S-Bahn No. 7 (S7) takes you directly to Zurich city center every half hour. Departure times from Kloten are at ..:25 and ..:55. The journey takes about 15 minutes, and the 5th stop is Zurich Central Station.
For the return journey, take the S7 again from Zurich, from platform 41/42. The return journey also runs every half hour: ..:19 and ..:49.
During the week, the last train leaves at 00:19, and on weekends there are additional night trains – a surcharge applies for these.
You can purchase a day ticket for Zurich, valid for 24 hours, either online or directly at our reception.
