ROOM RESERVATION

How can an individual reservation that was booked directly be canceled?

This applies to reservations made by the customer by telephone, via the official website of the hotel or by email:

Individual bookings can be canceled free of charge until 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival (special offers and special rates excluded). After 4:00 p.m., a no-show fee of 80% of the room price for the first night will be charged.

How can a room booking made through an external booking channel be canceled?

Bookings made through external booking channels such as Booking, Expedia, etc. can only be canceled through the corresponding channel under the terms and conditions displayed there.

ARRIVAL

Where is the Welcome Inn hotel located?

The Hotel Welcome Inn is located at Holbergstrasse 1 in Kloten, right in the center of town and just a 5-minute walk from Kloten SBB railway station. Zurich Airport can be reached within 15 minutes by public transport.

How do I get from Zurich Airport to the Welcome Inn hotel?

The hotel and airport can be reached within 15 minutes by taxi, public bus, and train. The Kloten-Stadthaus and Kloten-Bahnhof stops and Kloten train station are 300 meters away and can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.

Where can I park?

Marked parking spaces are available free of charge in the underground car park and around the hotel during your stay. The hotel is not liable for theft or other damage caused.

Can I arrive at any time during the day?

That’s no problem. With us, you can check in online in advance and receive your room key digitally before your arrival. On the day of arrival, your room will be ready for you from 2:00 PM.

Is the reception open all the time?

We are available for you as follows:

Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Are pets allowed at the Welcome Inn hotel?

Dogs and cats are welcome for an additional fee of CHF 15.00 (without food) per animal per day. Please register your pets at reception. Please note that dogs must be kept on a leash in and around the house.

CHECK-IN

When can I check in?

Your room will be ready for you from 2 p.m. daily. On request and for an additional charge, we offer early check-in from 9 a.m., subject to availability. With our online check-in and mobile key, you can access your room at any time, even outside reception hours.

How can I check in?

We want to make it as easy as possible for you, so we’ve made sure that you’re in control of your stay with our mobile check-in solution. No more lengthy processes. You decide when you check in. You will receive your digital key to access the hotel and your room. Alternatively, you can check in at reception between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.a

Do I need to register at reception?

If you have filled in everything correctly during online check-in, your digital key will be sent to you and you can go directly to your room.

When will I receive my digital key?

Your digital key will be available from 2 p.m. on the day of your arrival.

Is breakfast available?

We offer a small but delicious breakfast buffet for our guests every day. The breakfast room is located on the ground floor.

Opening hours:

Monday to Friday from 6:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

How often will my room be cleaned?

For stays of 2 nights or more, you can decide whether you would like room cleaning services during your stay at Hotel Welcome Inn.
Simply scan the QR code in the bathroom and cancel or personalize your daily cleaning. It only takes a few clicks and you’ve helped conserve resources. As a thank you, a small gift awaits you at the reception.

I would like to do sports in my free time. What can I do?

Be active, have fun, and discover our neighborhood—you can do it all here. The hotel’s fitness room has everything you need for a quick workout. Kloten also offers a swimming pool, a climbing park, jogging trails through the forest, an urban golf course, and much more.

I have feedback – where should I send it?

We always appreciate feedback! After your departure, you will receive an email from us asking for your feedback.

Alternatively, your host will be happy to receive it in person, by phone at +41 44 804 75 75, or in writing via email.

Can I smoke in my hotel room?

No.
We kindly ask all smokers to smoke outside only. If smoking is detected in a non-smoking room, an additional cleaning fee will be charged.

Nighttime quiet hours & noise

Out of consideration for other guests, we kindly ask you to observe quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

CHECK-OUT

By what time do I have to vacate my room?

We kindly request that you check out by 12:00 noon on the day of departure.
Please note that we charge a fee for day rooms. The reception desk will also be happy to inform you about the possibility of a later departure.

How can I check out?

You can check out at the reception desk or online.
If you choose the mobile check-out option, you will automatically receive a check-out request by email. Simply follow the instructions. See you next time!
